January 2008:

Won around $100 during weekend play in special promotions and freerolls. For details click here.

Febraury 2008:

On my Railbirds one year anniversary, I won a RailBirds tournament on Fulltilt ... (off that seed money) I came in second in a 180 player SNG ... then won an Omaha PL Heads Up Match ... turning $0 into $500 plus.

Called it a day, made a nice withdraw, and got some rest.

Won $109 tournament credits on bodoglife from RoundersRadio ... this will allow me access to their Sunday $100,000 tournament or apply it to any other tournament.

March 2008:

Cashed in 4 of out 7 freerolls held on bodoglife in the past 4 days.

Won a seat in PokerStar's Sunday Hundred Grand Tournament via satellite. For details click here.

Finished in the money after winning a seat in PokerStar's Sunday Hundred Grand Tournament via satellite. For the rest of the story, plus ITM stats for the year, click here.

April 2008:

Posted tournament stats in blog entry ... 100% ROI and 27% ITM. For details click here.

Won $109 tournament credits on bodoglife from RoundersRadio ... this will allow me to access the Sunday $100,000 tournament or apply it to any other tournament.

Won $109 and $215 in tournament credits on Bodog via qualifiers tournament held by bodoglife ... this will allow me access to their Sunday $100,000 tournament or apply it to any other tournament. For details click here.

Won a seat to the RSOP Tournament held by RoundersRadio on bodoglife. I finished second in a 45 player field and will play for a WSOP Main Event Seat on May 17th. The field size for the final table could be as little as 35 ... a 1 in 35 chance of winning WSOP Main Event Package ... good odds for such a high priced event.

May 2008:

Won $20 in a forum contest ... Paid 3 weeks later on May 30

Played in the RSOP Tournament held by RoundersRadio on bodoglife. I think I folded the winning hand to an aggressive over play ... it cost me half my stack ... then I lost to a 2 outer on the river ... as a 95% favorite it hurt a little.

A friend asked me to play in a Railbirds tournament on Fulltilt, I came in fourth before losing to a 3 outer (AQ vs A7).

June 2008:

Ran a Heads Up experiment - To see what my win ratio would be if I played 10 + straight heads up matches. I played in 27 Heads Up matches and lost 7 of them. My game of choice was Omaha ... I feel I have an edge over most online players. Most of my buy ins were $11 but some were higher ($23, $34, and $57). I stayed with Pot Limit because it gives me more control over the size of the pot and the pot odds for draws. check results here.

July 2008:

Ran a FPP Experiement on PokerStars. Itried to see what value I could get from my FPP and to be honest I was not that successfull! I tried to gain access to the $1 million tournament via a 500 FPP sat but fail short ... I tried to gain access to multiple $100,000 tournaments via the 70 FPP and came up short many times (loads of second and third place finishes) ... but I did win a $500 tournament for only 10 FPP - go figure! image available
